Info Regarding some changes,

due to the  Food & Drug Administration's new regulations:

In June 2009 the President of the U.S.A. signed a bill into law which basically turned control of the entire tobacco industry in the U.S.A. over to the FDA. (Food & Drug Administration) It is a deliberately complex & contradictory bill which will need to be sorted out (And probably challenged) over time for a better understanding. Today however we do know that this bill will change at least 4 things that all smokers and tobacco users will notice almost immediately.

1) Packaging & Description of product content will change. No longer will terms such as “light, ultra light, mild, etc.” be permitted on packaging.

2) Text and probably location of Health Warnings on cigarette and tobacco product packaging will change dramatically.

3) The taste or flavor of your favorite brand or type may change; because of FDA “content” regulations.

4) Because 99% of this bill forces the ‘manufacturer’ to implement the changes to comply with the new law; wholesale costs will go up at the factory level so PRICES TO ALL CONSUMERS REGARDLESS OF VENDOR WILL INCREASE!

Important Notice to All Members!

As each manufacturer changes their packaging & text describing the product within to comply with the new FDA regulations; we will do our very best to edit product listings in our Tobacco Mall reflecting these changes; however all  Members need to understand that the task is overwhelming and may actually take several months to complete. During this transition period Members may very well order a brand listed in our mall as a “light, ultra light, etc.”; but receive the new version without those words on the package. Worse yet, the packaging may even be a completely different color or design then you’ve purchased in the past or is shown on our web site.

The reason this notice is so important is we DO NOT WANT OR NEED ANYONE to contact us with complaints that they did not receive the type of cigarette they ordered because of these manufacturer packaging changes! AND please be advised that our Customer Service Department & Management personnel will NOT respond to any such complaints after the posting of this notice!

In addition, all Referral Members need to contact ALL Buying Members & All Temp Members in their downline and inform them of these government forced changes and the policy immediately!

As of this date the Distribution Centers have only received a handful of the new version packaging from just a few manufacturers. Most appear to be changing packaging to reflect a ‘color’ rather then a description in text. For example; Salem Ultra-Light formally in a green package with the text ULTRA LIGHT printed prominently on the packs & cartons is now named SALEM SILVER and the packaging color reflects that name.

We regret any inconvenience or frustration any of this may cause our Members; but be advised we are providing this notice in an attempt to avoid Member’s confusion AND to avoid time wasting communications sent to us by folks unaware of these new laws.
